Practice Information
Practice Philosophy:
I truly believe that each of us, no matter what we have experienced or where we come from, have the power within us to live the life we want to live. This potential can be unlocked if we have the strategies to walk through the anxiety of overcoming them and facing our fears.
Together we will use evidence based techniques to make the changes necessary to improve your quality of life. Whether you are coming to counseling alone or as a family we will build a set of skills to manage the feelings, thoughts or behaviors that are causing distress in your life. Employing several treatment methods, primarily Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we will work towards common goals that you set for yourself.
I have spent the past several years working with people who struggle with severe anxiety disorders and OCD spectrum disorders. Some common issues that I regularly help with are OCD, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobias and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. We will use evidence-based treatment strategies to decrease anxiety and increase your ability to function and live a meaningful life.

Practice / Cultural Specialties:
I specialize in the treatment of OCD and the spectrum of disorders associated with it, but I work with severe anxiety disorders of many kinds. These disorders include panic, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and a multitude of phobic disorders. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based treatments for these conditions. I am particularly fond to work with adolescents who are experiencing behavioral difficulties at school or at home.
